1. Bead Embroidered Scissor Chatelaine or Needle Book --- $70/Student

6-hour class. Student may choose which kit to make.

Basic bead embroidery and edging techniques are covered in class. The sewing of the case or book will be done at home later.

Both kits include directions, needles, Silamide thread, fancy fabric (moire bengaline or silk dupioni), interfacing, seed beads, novelty beads, and bugle beads. Needlebook kit includes wool fabric for inside leaf.

2. Bead Embroidery Sampler ---------------------------------------- $70/Student

6-hour class.

Learn the basics of bead embroidery while creating a reference sampler of stitches. Students will progress quickly and see how easy it is to create new designs based on simple stitches. Even dress up plain buttons!

*Technique oriented, not project specific.

Kit includes full instructions plus stitch reference chart; needles, Silamide thread, fabric; seed beads, bugle beads, sequins, buttons.
